♻️ Recycling & Plastic Solutions
At Krauss Consulting and Recycling GmbH, we offer a diverse portfolio of plastic materials – including high-quality regranulates, regrinds, bioplastics, and, where necessary, selected virgin polymers. Our mission is to bring sustainable materials into industrial standards, with a strong focus on circular economy, carbon reduction, and material efficiency.
We support our clients not only in sourcing the right materials, but also by providing expertise in recycling technologies, equipment solutions, and the integration of sustainable raw materials into existing production processes.
Recycled Plastics
Our recycled plastics are derived from multiple waste sources, ensuring sustainability and quality.
The waste sources of the recycled plastics we sell
Household Waste
The most traditional understanding of post-conumer waste, collected by municipalities e.g. yellow bin waste.
Commercial Waste
The most used post-consumer waste source, e.g. supermarket pallet wraps, stretch hoods, used bigbags, any kind of transport packaging, etc.
Agricultural Waste
It includes for example used silage films, hay wraps, baler twines, crop protection nets, mulch films, etc.
Ocean Waste
Not an official category but a source we all know, e.g. fishing nets, maritime ropes, fishing gear, etc.
Production Scraps
The least troublesome, e.g. shredded plastic components from production before being placed on the market as regrinds or off-spec pellets

Bio-calcium carbonate, derived from recycled eggshells, is an innovative and sustainable filler for plastics. It replaces traditional mineral additives like limestone and enables a significant reduction in plastic content and CO₂ emissions. Ecoshell offers certified, high-performance solutions that support modern industries in transitioning toward more sustainable and circular production.
Key Benefits:
✓ Plastic Reduction: Cuts plastic usage by up to 50% without compromising quality or processing performance.
✓ Lower CO₂ Emissions: Reduces carbon footprint by up to 70% compared to conventional plastic materials.
✓ Certified Recyclability: Fully EN 13430-compliant and FDA-approved for direct food contact.
✓ Antibacterial Properties: SGS-tested with 99.99% effectiveness against harmful bacteria.
✓ Easy Integration: Seamlessly compatible with existing manufacturing processes such as injection molding, blow molding, and film extrusion.
Application Areas:
🚗 Packaging Industry: Bottles, jars, tubes, and containers for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food (used by brands like Unilever and Nestlé).
💡 Electronics: Antibacterial and durable housings made from PP or ABS for electronic components.
🧼 Consumer Goods: Non-slip mats, toys, and household items with lower plastic content and improved sustainability.
📦 Industrial Packaging: Trays, pallets, and foam-based solutions – durable, cost-effective, and eco-conscious.
🧪 Compounds: Used as a masterbatch base for customized, high-efficiency material formulations.
Sustainability & Innovation
Ecoshell embodies true circular economy principles by transforming food waste into certified high-tech material. Through a patented multi-step process, eggshells are refined into a high-performance calcium-based filler ideal for sustainable plastic production. We collaborate with OEM partners to create scalable, eco-conscious alternatives that meet both environmental and industrial demands.
